Yeah but they have to R/S the private shares to come up with the new totals for when the company does become public. After the R/S, the shares would exceed the current SS hence the reason they need to raise the AS. If they do not raise the AS then they can't even make the merger happen.

The table shows there being 4 billion shares. We all know that those numbers do not match up with the public company.
