With at least three people (on this message board) saying there is a new CEO, I think someone should point out that no new CEO was named.
I can see how people could draw the conclusion that there is a new CEO.
Benny says, REDG is looking for a new CEO. Benny says, REDG is negotiating with a new CEO. Benny says, Shirrel Rhoades is new REDG board memeber. Benny says, Mr. Rhoades is planning REDG's future. Benny says, Benny is outgoing CEO. If it were anyone but Benny, concluding Shirrel Rhoades is REDG's new CEO would be logical.
But, Benny did not say, Shirrel Rhoades is the new CEO. Shirrel Rhoades did not say he is REDG's new CEO. No REDG board member called Shirrel Rhoades the new CEO.
I don't know if Absolute Comics will actually be published. It just seems that the timing would have been much better to have the books come out before the New York comic con. The books would have been available for their creative teams to promote at the comic con. It could have boosted readership of these books significantly.
