I only have two things running at start up in Windows 10,

One drive and Defender, I have Malwarebytes start on a 10 second delay, maybe I'm rolling the dice, a little strict?

I right click and disable the item rather than click on and hit the disable button on the bottom right, not sure if this makes a difference, but they stay disabled...until I get an update that is. :(

Also I make a habit of when I install new software I'll go to its options and set it not to run during startup.
