What i want to say this morning has to do with prayer...because...if you are unsaved you probably dont know this and you may not believe it...but i can assure you its a biblical fact right from Gods word...the Bible...and folks need to know this and understand it. So here is the truth and i have no doubt its going to freak many unsaved people out. So...im going to use myself as the example. Im 61 years young...lets say that i have NOT been saved....not born-again...not a christian...whatever terminology you care to use. Ole Rick Sane has never accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior...i dont have a personal relationship with Jesus. i have not repented of my sins and ask Jesus to forgive me my sins and ask Jesus into my life...i have not surrendered my life to Jesus...i am not a new creation. Ok...i know thats long winded but i want to get my point across. And lets say in these last 61 years i have prayed to God 3000 times. i have prayed for things for myself...ive prayed for things for others. i have prayed for healing for myself and healing for others. ive prayed for many things for me and my family and friends. Do you know that God has heard ZERO of those 3000 prayers! You say what!? Listen folks....read the scripture i have posted this morning. Until a person prays the prayer for the free gift of salvation...until a person ask God for forgiveness and repents of those sins...they are saved...born-again....become a new creation by Gods grace and the shed blood of Jesus...God does NOT hear a single prayer we pray. The first prayer that God hears is our prayer of salvation...asking forgiveness...and then He hears all of them from that moment on. So the bottom line....if you are unsaved...you can pray from the time you get up in the morning till the time you go to bed at night and God hears nothing! Think about that!
