I've seen and heard some things about this truck and what Elon wants to accomplish. One thing that I could not find anything on was the weight of this truck. Batteries are extremely heavy and it takes a whole lot of them to power a heavy duty truck.
so keep in mind for every pound that is added to the truck or trailer is a pound of payload that is removed. Truckers get paid for the freight that they haul. Of course if you only haul feathers or styrofoam no problem.

PS Something else to be aware of is NatGas weighs less than diesel which means a NatGas unit can haul more fright than a diesel powered one. Could be an advantage if heavier commodities are hauled.
