Hold up. I bought next week $250C at the close yesterday. I knew there was ex-dividend today. I thought my options would adjust. My contract still says 250C but now it is 1 dollar more out of the money. Under that logic, does that mean one could of bought OTM puts and had them automatically be in the money today? I did not know it worked like that. I am angry.
