Best way I've found of paper trading options (good for shares too)
is the List / Watchlist feature on the TD platform. The one you guys use in the States is different, so I don't know what it's called.
But you plug in the calls/puts you 'bought', number, price etc and it's pretty good at updating in real time the changes and, hopefully, gains.

It's a learning process, I'm still not doing nearly as well as I would like to be, but I'm plugging away when I can
