No I don't chart or use fractals or anything mumbo jumbo for vix. Watch for double digit contango, avoid contract rolls then. But mainly, 12 handle on front month (ie next month) futures is easy money long, 14 handle is easy money short (xiv). I'll watch qqq / gold / USDYEN as indices of tops and bottoms. But it's vix, the wildest poney out there, it's unpredictable and very fast. Only play money you can afford to lose.
