You're right. Im so conflicted about it though.

As an investor, I'm happy, as online games are a steady source of profit for the companies I'm invested in.

As a gamer, however, it saddens me. These games are ultimately a waste of time. I wish we saw more single player videogames these days. With the emphasis on story, characters and atmosphere.
