A lot of American's keep forgetting that after the Civil War, and the Agreement of the Election of 1876, The south was once again allowed to keep black people in the south forever in bondage and treated as second class citizens.
Then when America decided enough was enough another Civil Right's act was passed in the 1950s, and once again the South decided they could get around those laws and still keep the negro down.
Now another 70 years has passed and the south is once again trying to keep many of these Civil War Statues in place for the sole purpose of reminding black people that they will never be equal to the White Man.
