It is always tolerable when it's someone else's child, brother, friend, parent, sister.



Cyberspace is truly a strange place. People can bravely sit behind their computer screens and cheer the war and howl "bring it on" while somewhere in the real world other people are dying. It was one thing when the supporters of this war cheered as Iraqi's died, that was bad enough. Now that out troops our dying in ever increasing numbers people are still apologizing and cheering the war. I wonder how brave such people would be if they were at their local neighborhood bar having a beer. Would they be saying in public that thousands of American deaths would be tolerable? All in the name of WMD we cannot find??
