On July 21, 2017, Zimmer Biomet Holdings, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that Adam R. Johnson, Group President for the Spine, Dental, Craniomaxillofacial and Thoracic business units, will resign effective September 1, 2017. Mr. Johnson informed the Company that, with the integration of LDR substantially complete and new leaders in place in Zimmer Biomet’s Spine and Dental business units, his decision was motivated by his desire to pursue his professional goals that include a career in private equity. Chris Jefferis, Vice President of Finance for Spine, Dental, Craniomaxillofacial and Thoracic, will serve as the Interim Group President until a permanent successor has been named. Mr. Jefferis will report directly to Daniel Florin, Interim Chief Executive Officer, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
