Personally I think it is fairly self-defeating the way these large bids are being put in, while there is a large ask. Sure your bid gets filled at a lower pps than hitting the ask, but now you still have this wall in the way. If instead of putting up a large bid, you took a large chunk out of the wall on the ask, then sure you paid more for your shares, but you have put yourself in a better situation as the stock can move up now. Especially here with EXOL, where it is so thin after the wall.
