Stocks look set for a lower open this morning despite solid earnings from companies like General Electric(GE) ( GE), Visa ( V), and Schlumberger ( SLB).

S&P 500 futures are little changed, while Dow Jones Industrial Average futures have dipped 0.1%. Nasdaq Composite futures have declined 0.2%.

Colgate-Palmolive (CL) ( CL) has dropped 2.2% to $70.47 after its second-quarter revenue fell short of Street expectations.

Capital One Financial (COF) has climbed 3.9% to $84.18 after its earnings beat analyst expectations.

eBay (EBAY) has slumped 4.5% to $35.50 after its second-quarter earnings met analyst forecasts but guidance disappointed.

General Electric (GE) ( GE) has declined 0.4% to $26.58 despite beating earnings and revenue forecasts.

RH ( RH) has declined 1.1% to $75.89 after getting cut to Hold from Buy at Deutsche Bank(DB).

Schlumberger ( SLB) has risen 1.6% to $68.10 after its earnings and revenue topped Street expectations.

Visa ( V) has advanced 1.3% to $99.37 after beating earnings forecasts and raising guidance.
