There are 2 types of "grass shrimp". The one they are showing in the latest presentation is the Tiger Prawn. Also, this is interesting about the White shrimp. P. vannamei is very tolerant to low temperatures (down to 15°C) enabling them to be cultured in the cold season. Which is why it is easy to do 6 cycles in ODRAS. And this They are amenable to culture at very high stocking densities of up to 150/m2 in pond culture, and even as high as 400/m2 in controlled recirculated tank culture.
