VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(MARKET WIRE)--Sep 13, 2006 -- Patriot Gold Corp. (OTC BB:PGOL.OB - News) announced today that in the next 30 days management will be holding a special meeting of shareholders where a vote will be held in regards to the following:



1. To grant discretionary authority to our board of directors to implement a reverse stock split of our common stock on the basis of one post-consolidation share for up to each ten pre-consolidation shares to occur at some time within twelve months of the date of the special meeting, with the exact amount and time of the reverse split to be determined by the Board of Directors;

2. To transact such other business as may properly be brought before a special meeting of the shareholders of our Company or any adjournment thereof.
