The first link -only- concerns a joint declaration of intent. Belenos, a Swatch Group research company, and ETH Zurich (a Swiss Goverment Lab) have been developing a new and innovative battery that aims to be at least 30% more powerful than conventional counterparts.

The company reported its first success: in mid-May of 2016, Belenos and the Chinese car and motorcycle manufacturer Geely signed a joint declaration of intent for use of the new battery technology.

We should keep our eyes open for further development of this agreement between Geely and Swatch. If this battery does as Swatch Group believes, vanadium will also be used in Lithium-ion EV and Hybrid batteries and be a positive for (Next/NSRC) future.

The watchmaker Swatch Group has signed an agreement with the Chinese Geely Group for use of its innovative new battery.

Geely owns Volvo which this next link refers to.
