It has been explained to you many times. even linked with the DD straight from the FFIEC.

You stated that the FFIEC guidance was not a standard, it was pointed out that even SFOR fins acknowledge the fact that the FFIEC sets the standards and their "guidance" was the standard.

Now your trying to spin the fact of A standard does not mean "the" standard. Which I have pointed out many times on this board.

MFA WAS HERE AND A STANDARD IN 2001

OOB/MFA HAS BEEN A STANDARD SINCE 2012!

In 2001 MFA was NOT a Standard or Required by FEEIC Guidance.

YES IT WAS AND HERE IT IS
2001 MFA FFIEC

when risk assessments indicate the use of single-factor authentication is inadequate, financial institutions should implement multifactor authentication, layered security, or other controls reasonably calculated to mitigate those risks.

SEE MFA was here and A standard! in 2001

oob/mfa in 2012

Your trying to confuse posters with MFA and OOB/MFA which are two different things, as already pointed out.

2001 mfa

2012 oob/mfa

industry standard!
