Hi,

Do you have an explanation for why the Total Market Volume (regular trading hours) as reported in the short sale daily file is usually less, and sometimes several times smaller than the Total Volume reported by the exchanges themselves ? For example AAPL on June 30th 2017 on NASDAQ. Total volume reported by NASDAQ ~18 Mil but data reported by FINRA is only ~4.9 Mil.
