I tend to think it was the best offer for Stan Lee and Gill Champion, not necessarily the best deal for shareholders.. POW! isn't in play. Stan and Gill have agreed to vote for Camsing's buyout. No company can make a successful buyout with out Stan or Gill voting for it. That suppresses most any other bids. We also don't know if there were any superior offers, it was not a transparent process.

Also, I think it's POW!'s Stan Lee IP that has the value, not the running company (except for Stan continuously cranking out IP).

The only company that should have a problem with the buyout is Disney. They are about the only company that relies on using Stan Lee's likeness (used in the Big Hero 6 movie and probably in the animated series airing in the fall, also used in several Marvel animated series), something they will lose control of when Camsing owns it (or should Camsing sell it to a Disney competitor, like the Wang Group).

I'm predicting Stan's likeness will grow in value when Stan can no longer be places in person.

Edit
I have no problem with Camsing buying POW!, as long as they pay up should it be determined to be worth a lot more.

I do think POW! should have more publicly announced it was for sale before locking in a buyer. It would have squashed my doubts about what other companies might be willing to pay for POW!.
