Drug companies do it all the time, it's how we get generic meds. They just analyze the molecular makeup, add something in that doesn't affect the purpose and sell it to the world at a fraction of the price. Drug companies are known for selling their drugs at astronomical prices at first because they know someone is going to rip off their formula sooner or later. It's kind of messed up since these companies spend all of their money on R&D, but the first to market usually makes up for it with higher initial sales and higher profits.

It would be cool if JB was doing any of this.

Personally, I think he stole this idea from someone and bought the patents...everyone on the buying side knows this and have basically blacklisted him, which is why this has never been anything but hype.
