I doubt that anyone on this board questions the issue of opioid addiction or dependency and the need to wean people off of them.

I do not believe that is the source of disputes and dialogues on this site. The subject and the real issue is the company that is supposed to be selling and distributing Calmare machines and whether:
1) the Calamre device is as effective as you and others believe
2) the company has the resources to ever get the product out into the public eye where, if effective, it becomes a substiitute for opioids
30 the company has management that is capable of making anything work
4) the company can withstand the lawsuits that are coming in from all sides

You are preaching to the choir about the matter of drugs not being the answer in many instances and the need to curtail the use of pain-killers. You would be better off trying to persuade the non-functioning and very silent Board of Directors to take immediate action to replace management with person or persons who can make this a viable company and get the product tested, proven and adopted.

So far, all of those research projects have not made any splash, are rarely published, and, most certainly, have had little effect on any wide=spread adoption of the device.

How long has it been since Mir announced his infamous government grant or contract? How many devices were then bought or sold to government agencies? Why would anyone believe this man any more?

Consider any doctor or clinic that reads about this device and then does a minimum amount of due diligence. What would they find and read? A firm near BK. A firm with no assets. A firm with no staff. A firm mired in litigation. A firm that does not issue any of the many required financial reports. A firm with a CEO who is absent from the scene> A firm with a Board of Directors that cannot be accessed except via the absent CEO.

Need I say more?

If you believe in this product, and I suspect you do so fervently, you would be better off gathering your friends and collecting funds to offer to buy this company from the major holders and start all over. Unfortunately, the legal issues hang over the company and might prevent any such purchase without settlements and transfer of rights issues. It might be the only option left and I cannot understand why the BoD has not gone out and tried to peddle the company to a viable buyer in the medical supply and equipment field if you assume that a big pharm would not be interested.
