Now if you consider yourself smart, but disproportionately find in life that things are not going good for you...stop and consider the difficult psychological premise that you're really a DF. This is potentially the best thing that can happen to you, provided the realization is before, not after, disaster has struck.

Whatever you thought was S was actually D, so reorganize your thinking by approaching it from different angles. Use trial and error until things begin to turn out better.

Bring a DF, someone who knows nothing, is way better than being a Stupid F, or one who continues to believe in something even though all the evidence points in the other direction. A long term holder of VXX would the the classical definition of a Stupid F.

So now I've expanded the universe to include: Smart, Unlucky F, Lucky F, Dumb F, and Stupid F. Looks like 4/5 of a persons life is lived in a state of being F'ed.
