PSCs have bankruptcy clauses that negate the PSC in case of bankruptcy. Can you imagine why a country wouldn't want a bankrupt company owning an intetest in one of their blocks? I can. It's bad enough being delinquent and in default. Bankruptcy is worse. So, Bankruptcy might vaporize the debt but it would also vaporize ownership in all the blocks.
