Jazz the thing is didn't we get told the calabration was off on the size?

Doesn't this just sound like one of the first steps in reeling?
Step 1: adjust reeler for size of current run.
Step 2: turn on reeler.

That is just the way I see it based on what we are told.
A simple human error caused by someone who probably never saw highschool.

Fault is irrelevant.
Fix is what is important.

I think that Kim handeled this issue in exactly the right way.
In his shoes I would be pissed that the vendor didn't call me before the due date.
It shows he waited till the last min and rushed the job.

I would send him replacement silk and expect a priority run and a discount and I would be looking for a reeler as a replacement.

I would also include a reeling station in the new site plans immediately if they didn't have them already.

I would not let this happen again. The current reeler would become my back up vendor
