cheynew, besides Acadian with 724K shares as a new position, also RUSSELL INVESTMENTS GROUP, LTD. opened a position with 322K shares while there are no big sold out positions (7K is the largest and only one).

I wonder if the PPS will be controlled in order to avoid to enter the Russel again (which would also immediately increase the short interest by many million shares due to the hedging techniques).

I am not really sure if in the actually stage of PPHM it would be better to be in or out of the Russel. Waiting a year (next Russel should be in PPHM profitable zone) might be a good thing. Then again, being in the Russel is good for liquidity and Russel indexes indirectly generate trades.
