I am curious about something...

I stated that "Ganthet paid VLDI $400,000 IN CASH that was spent on product development. The money was received a couple of years ago and WAS REAL, and WAS SPENT by VLDI. In return for that cash infusion, VLDI issued a secured note that accrued interest."

What is there about that statement that could possibly cause someone to conclude that I was saying Ganthet did not pay $400,000 in cash? Am I missing something here? I think I was speaking in English, guess not.
