So as I see it, all the patients remaining chose to be treated with Avastin + VB-111. This is actually can be interpreted into two possibilities:
1. Patients were convinced that VB-111 is effective, and nothing wrong with that as long as those patients were not selected differently then the other group, then chose the combination therapy.
2. Patients didn't know if VB-111 can improve their situation thereof leave them with the hope it may help them by continuing the treatment.

In each of the two cases 1. Patients were right and VB-111 is indeed effective. or 2. they didn't know and proved to be effective at the end of the trial.

Either way, I don't see it as the outcome of the trial is biased towards VB-111.
