HyperSolar has already shown they can produce H2 pretty efficiently in their little baggie and box demos. Being cost effective requires something other than platinum or other rare Earth metals to work as the catalyst.

They are working on an Earth abundant catalyst which will reduce the cost of the particle and it will find it’s way into the production of H2 on some level. Not as the main diet at first maybe but they will find a niche somewhere to get a foothold and continue on from there.

If you are not patient or want to use your investment as an ATM machine this may not be the place for you. Changing the World doesn’t happen at the snap of your fingers.
