But all he'd have "won" would have been the shell, and shells are a dime a dozen. Civil actions nearly always settle, and they're nearly always about money. If you want the other side to go away, you offer cash.
Bosticco's gripe was that Tracy hadn't fulfilled his duties as custodian, and was not proceeding to do so in a timely manner. When he objected, Tracy removed him as an officer/director. That was what persuaded Bosticco to hire his own attorney.
We'll probably never know how the matter was resolved, but my guess would be that Tracy returned, or has promised to return, whatever money Bosticco paid him.
