My opinion is that the company is trying to expend and not to be bought.
The company has extended their platform portfolio recently and perhaps some few more to come in the near sight.
Given that they are trying to offer the Lecinoxoid for one indication (NASH - big market) to obtain some cash liquidity seems to me that they are trying to grow faster in the near term and long term rather than be bought.
Their science and connections to R&D from the academy is very strong meaning that they can constantly bring new platform/ideas to clinical phases, this may translate to very rapid growth for the company.
