Interactive Brokers. Lower fees, no 1/2 percent fee for pennies, it's either $.005 share or $6 flat fee depending on the number of shares and pps. Options are $.25-$.70 per contract, and their highest margin interest rate is presently just 2.41% vs Scottrade at 8.75%. Lastly, with IB you can trade literally anything that you can get approved for...Stocks, options, commodities, futures, etc. Also, you can do a bracket order...For example you can set sell order to take profits on a position, and have a stop loss or a stop limit on quote on that same position. Scott won't let you enter more than one order for a position. 10k minimum margin deposit to open account, 2k to maintain margin privileges
