IF... the CEO really has been lying this whole time.... wouldn't there be some sort of legal action taken on him? I'm new to trading and I'm assuming it's illegal to lie about press release and new company updates. Clearly it's an attempt to manipulate the market. Wondering what kind of legal consequences the CEO faces if so?
