The first link below is from February 29, 2016 -is slightly dated. It concerns a lithium-ion EV battery based on a compound of vanadium that could have legs. It is being developed by the Swatch Group, the Swiss Watch Maker and it's subsidiary Belenos Clean Power.

Other links concerning “Swatch” are both Pro and Con and should be read carefully to help one form an opinion on this lithium-ion EV battery based on the compound of vanadium. https://www.google.com/#q=swatch+vanadium+battery

One of those links is from the Swatch Website and concerns a joint declaration of intent signed in May of 2016 -between Belenos and China's Geely Automobile Holdings Ltd. It concerns the new EV battery technology and mentioned a Memorandum of Understanding.

While not a sure thing shareholders in vanadium based miners should keep an eye on the progress of this new EV battery technology.

Swatch Group has a Market cap of about $19 billion.
