See that where your wrong Carl, I look at the big picture.

I trying to see the future if SUNW has the investing value of holding a CD, a money pit or will actually give me a good rate of return down the road.

Not every quarter is going to generate profits, especially for a new micro cap start up like SUNW

I agree but what quarters and halves do indicate what direction the company might be going. First half of 2016 very promising while the second half was flat compared to previous year and extremely down from the first half.

Here where we see things much differently.

Now matter how I present it you will argue it. SUNW went from 5 guys in a garage (not literally, at least I dont think so) to an $80M company with however many employees in a few years,

I do agree that SLTD grew buy acquiring three micro companies all ready in operation and went from zero to 87 million in revenue.
But by the 2016 numbers I don't currently see any significant growth coming from the merger of those 3 companies.

Going forward at the end of the day. if nothing changes, SUNW will be 3 micro companies under one roof preforming at levels below what each one was doing independently before the merger. (according to the numbers given out by the company)

Sure you will most likely have growth year in and year out, but it will be micro growth (10 to 25 Million a year).

Where is the significant growth going to come from to turn this in to a major company?

That my concern.
