The way I see it, regular accounts are there so the big guys can get all of our money. Margin accounts are there so they can get all of our money, plus the house, the car, the other car, the family jewels, the dog, and even the dogs jewels too.
If you've got limits and stick to them you'll be OK. Just remember the only sure thing is there's no such thing as a sure thing.
