The only scamming going on here was done by the promoters themselves. Ask yourself, "What was the original intent of a stock market?" Was it not to raise money to advance legitimate companies. Indeed it was. That is no longer possible in the penny stock market. The promoters take so much of the money raised the company itself does not get enough cash to advance. It's a terrible place for budding capitalists to go to raise cash.

The guys running colv, now smpi, are straight up honest guys who have more than a million dollars of capital structure in place and need just a bit more cash to begin the manufacturing process. Did they get scammed by promoters? Yes. Have they endured frivolous lawsuits from others trying to get something for nothing? Yes. So where are they now? The rollback was necessary to essentially start over. There will be no more promoters involved with this one. It will advance by cash raised through private placement. That will mean few shares on the market, making the ones out there right now quite valuable.
