Cole..while I stand by my statement that GTE showed profit, which as you state has been confirmed by the majority of posters on this board (you have also stated why you think it is not true, certainly you're entitled to your opinion) actually stating that GTE shows a profit was probably a mistake on my part in the context of the meaning of my post which was to say that at this point in GTE's development losses and profits are really not what the company is all about. It is the progress toward their goals for profitibility that matters, and this week that progress was clearly documented in the AP article and on the new website. It is up to each individual to decide if that progress is adequate. In my case the progress shown is more than adequate.

Sam..by long I mean those who stay with the investment long enough for the company to use the capital that they have invested in it to achieve a product offering and revenue stream in the marketplace. Frankly, the company or companies from which GTE has morphed I feel have nothing to do with GTE today. If you were invested in some other company way back then, then why did you stay with it as it tranformed into something else entirely? My frame of reference is indeed much shorter than yours because of that very reason.
