Aside from the thurgensis (sp?) bacteria toxin gene i generally agree and eat that stuff too.
There is reason to be hesitant about Roundup exposure but the studies aren't conclusive on that and the gene mod itself is only for tolerance. The weeds will become tolerant themselves and the market will fade away.
On the thurgensis mod...Chemical mechanisms tend to be evolutionarily conserved and repurposed. If it kills molting insects and we're eating a lot of it, it's an unverified threat but thus far beats eating insecticide directly.
The result might be a shorter life...who knows?

i'd sure like more salmon with my corn.
