The seeds are transported to the roasting company, Hollister California for final preparation, seasoning, roasting, and packaging in “retail ready” jars or bags. Currently Incas Snacks has exclusive contracts with various farmers for 5,500 hectares which will yield 24 million pounds per year of Sacha Inchi seeds by the end of 2017. Currently they will yield 600,000 pounds in 2016. Incas Snacks has Letter of Interest (LOI) with 1,750 farmers for over 7.6 million pounds per year beginning in 2017. Incas Snacks has developed a proprietary process for harvesting, de-shelling, shipping, and roasting to preserve the key nutrients and assure the taste. The Company has filed a provisional patent for the process. The company is also working to provide loans to farmers. This will provide another source of revenue for the company. The Colombian government recently further validated the Inca Seeds (Sacha Inchi) project with a recent goal to have over 10,000 hectares planted by 2016-2017
