As pointed out on SI...

TigerDirect is showing 6 of their top 10 sellers as being Intel processors: 5 Core 2 Duos, and 1 Pentium D (this is up from 1 only a week ago when the Core 2 EE was the only processor readily available). It looks like they distinguish between boxed processors and mobo combos as separate items. As expected, folks appear to be flocking to the E6600...
