Wrong 10k? Today's release seems to imply that the 10k was not accurate when it said 700 were already installed, and 300 more by end of year. It shouldn't be difficult to communicate this kind of thing, but Provision has a real knack for questionable communication IMO.
Nearly 2 months ago the 10k said this:
<<..we have installed approximately 700 kiosks in Rite Aid’s top 10 demographic markets, and made plans for additional 300 Rite Aid stores in calendar year 2016.>>
And today's PR says this:
<<announced today, that it has successfully installed an additional 200 3D Savings Center kiosks...The kiosks are now in approximately 700 locations in major markets.>>
They again tout the high response rate, but it appears to me to not be quite what it looks like at first glance - with minimal associated revenues (perhaps) and only about 1 coupon redeemed per day per store. I fear these units may end up all being returned due to lack of performance. We'll see how it plays out. Perhaps if they can land more ad contracts it will improve enough but I have real doubts about that. I'm not sure 'cool' translates into enough ad revenue for investors to benefit. We'll see I guess.
