There are many different ways to look at the situation now that we've been given an apparent concrete recent approximated primary completion date for the trial. Your linear formula is of course predicated upon cursory/rough estimates I've drawn from metaanalysis and the like, so they must be taken with a grain of salt. However, the more I do this with other sources for typical event rates with standard of care, the more convinced I become. Still, we won't know until we know.
