Drilling activity has really slowed down in the Eagle Ford. The old Permian Basin is hot.

True...and historically speaking rig counts clearly told the straight scoop regarding trends in the O & G industry...no question...but post price plunge they can be a little misleading now that we're 2 years into the war on oil.

Forgive the pun but I've been drilling down into the world of Drilled but UnCompleted wells (DUC's)....(dang ..I don't think that qualifies me as a roughneck).

DUC's really have no direct visible ties to a small Texas refiner such as Blue Dolphin but they will have an effect on the Eagle-Ford in general and that effect can be more material than first imagined.
