I for one likely have as large of a stake as, if not larger than most, and yet, I am able to rationally understand both the potentially positive PR's, and with the same gusto, the chance of negative.

Being the rational, conservative yet inherently optimistic person that I am, I will spare you the mildly condescending "let me break it down for you" spiel as there isn't anything to simplify, or breakdown as it were...

IIROC halted it on Sept 22 because the BO rumour mentioned came from a dubious free press release website and did so to ensure the validity, or lack there of, and thus thereby protect investors from potentially going all in based on an exceptionally bogus rumour... Link to the story

I hope I don't need to explain why your DNDN experience does not do a single thing to refute my so called "ridiculous statement" - In fact, it makes you seem a little ridiculous, oh the irony.

Not to mention that it makes your whole story quite untenable, to say the least.
