fuzzy, I don't use that program, but I do use Edge. I noticed that when MS shoved the anniversary version of Win10 down my throat that it turned Cortana on in Edge. I turned it back off through Advanced/Settings. Just theorizing that the same thing happened to you and it may be the culprit in your Ameritrade app. Just guessing...
