Klondex Mines Ltd. has reopened the gold mine in Bissett and during the past several weeks has hired 200 people.

Klondex officials said it expects to invest from $15 million to $25 million annually into the operation and produce 45,000 to 65,000 ounces of gold.

The mine is now called True North Gold Mine. When the former owner, San Gold Corp., operated the mine, it was called Rice Lake Gold Mine. San Gold closed the mine and filed for creditor protection last year and was effectively
