Nobody that I know of has made this case in court.

The fact is, contracts between the GSE's and investors are worthless. Whether equity, preferred or bonds is no matter.

The conservator can do whatever according to the lower courts.

That includes confiscating all P&I payments for govt use.

As Trump stated on Bloomberg today, they could buy the debt back.(referring to Treasuries) GSE's are no different. Buy it back after all interest and principal payments are suspended.

Real cheap.

Some people see things as they are and say, why? I dream things that never were and say, why not?
