Do you also hate the cash dividend on a former penny stock, Eddy?

I don't like the decision of reverse split.

The long promised - and perhaps unique - cash dividend on a stock selling for less than a penny has happened. The reverse split under such circumstances seems to me quite understandable and desirable.

There is no question Ross Beaty stepped into something real stinky when he thought to take advantage of Iceland's enormous financial distress when the folly of the former government and various crooks began unraveling but the company is no longer a zombie.

Interest has drifted to the far less desirable wind and solar projects that destabilize grids and prevent a breakaway from fossil fuels but best not to look a gift horse in the mouth.

Does Alterra have any part in this breakthrough technology?

I guess we will only find out by reading the fine print in the next annual report short of contacting the rebuilt company.

The whole rest of the world is going geothermal while the country that started it all after it was invented in Italy has mostly gone idle despite a huge heritage from American pioneers.
