Most of us know the Nokia hurdle has been the only clog that's prevented us from being much much higher than mid-20's. But Nokia will be done, and as 3G blossoms, we will indeed go very high. Now... yesterday, in one fell 20 minute $6 swoop, the game began and ended for most hedgies and shorts, so let's not worry about them. Volatility today will come from the everyday investor and institutions, with shares moving from those with short time horizons to value investors with longer ones. Superficially, it may look to some that our small IP company's being flipped off by the world's biggest manufacturer. Smarter investors recognize the two companies are working out the finer points of a relationship that will grow. Yeah, okay, we're getting a haircut, but at least we've approached the hurdle, and it will get done.
